Local Barre Reopening Procedures

We are so excited to be reopening our pink doors and welcoming you back to the studio. Please note that the health & safety of both our staff and Locals is, as always, our number one priority. See below for steps we are taking to ensure provincial guidelines are met, and that you have the best in-studio experience!

General Studio Updates

• All Locals and staff will be pre-screened upon entry. If you are sick, symptomatic, or have been around anyone who is symptomatic or has been diagnosed with Covid-19, we reserve the right to deny entry.
• If you are not feeling well, please stay home. Give the studio a call or send us an email and we will ensure to waive any late cancellation fees for you.
• Masks are not required, but we will have some on site if you choose to wear one.
• We will not be accepting cash at this time — just debit and credit. We encourage you to store credit card information to your Mindbody profile to allow for quick, easy and contactless transactions in studio.
• Showers will not be available at this time.
• Lockers and change rooms will not be available at this time. Please bring minimal personal items with you that you can keep at your spot in the studio.
• Washrooms and water filling basin will be available, but we encourage using either only if absolutely needed.
• Please bring water with you! Provincial guidelines prohibit us from selling water at this time.
• Hair products, hair elastics, and sweat towels have been temporarily removed. Please ensure you arrive to class prepared!
• Hospital grade disinfectant will be used to clean all equipment between each class. We have extended the time in between classes to ensure proper cleaning protocols have been adhered to
• Little Locals childminding will not be offered at this time. We will keep an eye on the situation and evolve as needed!
• As always, grip socks are absolutely mandatory. Entry into the studio without them is strictly prohibited.

Arriving to the Studio

• Please arrive to class no more than 10 minutes before the start time. We'll be busy sanitizing everything for you! Our doors will be locked until 10 minutes prior to class for this reason.
• Please sanitize your hands upon entry and verbally check in with our Experience Team. For the time being we will no longer be using the iPad to check in for class.
• Once you've sanitized your hands, please choose your weights and go straight to a spot at the barre!
• Please adhere to social distancing when in our reception area and studio by being mindful of floor markers.
• Once inside the studio, please choose a spot and stay at your spot at the barre until class starts. In order to adhere to provincial guidelines, we will have preset spots for you that are spaced at least 2 meters apart with sanitized equipment ready to use. Stations will be numbered with a “barre” spot and a correlated “center” spot for you. Please stay at your numbered station! 14 spots are available for Local Specials and 9 are available for Straight Up classes.
• For safety reasons, late entry /exit to class will not be allowed. We require you to stay for the full class to avoid any entering / exiting of the room while the class is on.

Leaving the Studio

• Once class is over, please take your weights out of the studio to the designated sanitizing area, and leave the rest of your equipment at your numbered station. Our staff will sanitize all equipment for you!
• We kindly ask you to leave promptly after class is over to keep traffic flowing and to allow staff the time to clean.
• Retail is still available for purchase. We just ask you to avoid trying merchandise on if possible and to purchase using a card stored on file to keep things efficient!

Registering & Cancelling Classes

Provincial guidelines require us to operate with a very reduced class capacity. As such, we kindly ask you to pay close attention to your schedule and cancel with ample time when necessary to allow movement on the waitlists. We have changed our Cancellation Policy to 4 hours for PM classes and 10 hours for AM classes. You may be added up to 2 hours prior to the class start time. With such limited spots, make sure you are aware of your place on the waitlist so we can allow as many Locals the chance to attend class as possible.

Class Passes

• All auto-renewing Loyalty Memberships will be active the date your studio opens. Your autopay schedule will resume where it left off as of March 16th. If you need any further extension or have any inquiries about your membership, please email your home studio and we will be happy to help you out.
• All unlimited pass holders that had an active pass as of March 16th will have their expiry dates adjusted accordingly.
• All class passes do not expire, but Mindbody has a temporary expiry date of 12 months. If you have active, unused passes left that have “expired” please email us and we will reactivate them for you.
