The Local Special is just that: our speciality that defines our method. Music is integral to the class, so we barre to the beat of the playlist that is carefully crafted by each Local Leader. General flow of the class moves from a warm up to set the tone and get moving, to a weighted series that fatigues the upper body, followed by barre and core work. Exercises are carefully chosen to fatigue all muscle groups individually. Each Local Special finishes with a cool down stretch.
Do you want to get the same classic Local Barre burn but like your workout a little "watered down"? This class is perfect for you! If you are new to barre, new to working out, or just looking for a slightly lower impact version of the Local Special, try Local Light.
Sweat it out then stretch it out in this 60 minute class. 40 minutes of an intense barre burn followed by 20 minutes of a cool-down stretch. Let's barre then chill, Locals!
Sweat it out at Local... straight up. This class is designed to challenge your endurance and strength even further with interval training, elevated cardiovascular components, and classic barre favourites. You might want to bring a towel - be prepared to sweat!
